Valentines day at White Castle is adorable! They have decorations, tablecloths, waitress service, flowers, even a menu! The table next to us brought a bottle of wine! They have clam strips and shrimp too. You need to have a reservation to get the table, and it does book up fast, but it is worth it.

We arrived in time and they didn't have a table. This location literally has 4 tables. 1 table for 1 person, 2 tables for 2 people, and 1 table for 4 people. They had a couple sitting at the only table for 4. This location should not be able to take reservations for Valentine's Day. They simply can't accommodate them.

White Castle is an institution and holds such special memories from my childhood. Although we don't eat there very often (2x/year) every time we do it brings back such great memories. This year when I learned they were bringing back dine in service, I quickly made a reservation for Valentine's Day. We don't usually go out on this day but we made an exception. We arrived to the Clifton NJ White Castle and were greeted by two lovely young ladies dressed in red that escorted us to our table. Complete with candle and flowers. They offered to take pictures of us and then took our order. The order was delivered on red plates with red napkins all setting the mood. It was fun to share our favorite sliders while celebrating Valentines Day. So much fun and a piece of Americana. We will be back next year. THANK YOU!

Based on the description of the event, when getting to the location we were suppose to have a a spot marked with our name..that did not happen...we had to call them to let them know we were there. Food was as expected and service was fine. The order was not correct and we had to call them to fix. Menu was the same food as any normal day. Activities on menu were cute...Spotify music station had music to listen too but no one had the app downloaded. They should have mentioned this in the description to be prepared...Not as expected from the description. I’m sure it’s a better experience when they do this inside. Will not do this again ...really a big nothing..,

White Castle promises a special Valentine’s Day dinner with decorations and table service. We got none of that. We had to order at the counter and take to table. While food was as tasty as it normally is, for them to advertise as a special romantic dinner at White Castle is misleading at best and false advertising at worst. My husband and I lost a romantic night out due to White Castle and they will likely never be able to make that up to us, nor don’t think they would even try.
