White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

    I ordered mushroom soup and it was barely warm. There were very few people in the restaurant so it wasn’t because they were busy. It was good but not very appetizing….especially on a freezing day!

    Great service and good. Our server, Susanne, was very friendly and engaging. I ordered the special, a breakfast hoagie, and sausage. Great meal. Beautiful venue and dog friendly- what more could you ask for. Highly recommend. We will be grabbing brunch there a lot more.

    Our server Ashley was awesome! She was attentive and friendly, never made us feel rushed. One food order was not right and she took care of it right away. Food was delicious we had the meatloaf, burgers and scallops/shrimp pasta- all were so good and we will definitely be back!

    Excellent experience. The birthday card for our person celebrating was an extra special touch. Sarah the server was outstanding. Cannot wait to dine there again.

    We had a wonderful dinner for 4. Had a late reservation and at the end we were the only table. We were not pressured to leave and the service was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I do not think it is typically this quiet, but was for us as it was late.

    Outstanding experience tonight. The service was spectacular and the food fantastic. The ambience next to the fireplace was fantastic for a very cold evening such as tonight- just a great night all around.

    I ordered the Kennett Square omelet, but the eggs were flat and fairly dry and it was room temp. Very disappointed. Our server Tessa was very good, regardless.
