Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle food scene since 1989 - serving authentic Southeast Asian cuisine, craft cocktails, and more. This location has a hip, modern vibe and an industrial feel complete with a large U-shaped bar, custom lighting, authentic artwork and décor (such as a beautiful multi-colored Indian wedding shawl), Indonesian wood and copper details, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, an outdoor patio, and more. Both the bar and satay counter provide guests the opportunity to see all of the action unfold right in front of them. Enjoy dining outside this summer on our patio!

Although there are no completely private dining options, our outdoor patio and parts of our dining room can be sectioned off for groups ranging from 8-30 guests. The entire restaurant can be reserved with a maximum capacity of 150 people.

Food was pretty mediocre compared to the cost. This is a restaurant that cares more about putting on a facade and decor used to attract local tech workers that are always willing to spend high values rather than focusing on putting out quality food. For example their stir fried chicken is on par with Panda Express for 2.5x times the cost. Find another place to eat unless you want to look ‘contemporarily cool’ in your next TikTok video posting. Waitress was nice though.

My group of four had a fun and enjoyable night. Duck was outstanding. Wait staff courteous with just the right amount of attention. We ordered a lot of food and happily took home green papaya salad, duck, pad Thai.

Excellent food and drinks, with very helpful and entertaining guidance from our waiter Eddie. I am generally leery of places that serve diverse cuisines (in this case Thai, Chinese, and Indian) but Wild Ginger has mastered them all.

The food is expertly prepared. Great menu. Our usual waiter Eddie goes above and beyond. Very personable. He makes the whole dining experience special. We’re very grateful to have this place in our neighborhood.
