The Wildflowers English Tea Room, in Broomfield, serves traditional British baked goods to accompany a grand tea service, with meals as delicious as they are elegant. In this sophisticated tea room, you have three choices of service – the prince or princess tea for children 9 years of age and under and the high tea, for the rest of us. The Wildflowers English Tea Room's prince and princess tea services include homemade scones with sweet and rich Devonshire clotted cream and jam, followed by a “tea tower” filled with beautiful, bite-sized pastries and sandwiches and a glass of sparkling cider. The high tea service for adults includes the same as the prince and princess teas, except it is crafted for adult appetites and includes bottomless tea and the choice of champagne instead of sparkling cider. The Wildflowers English Tea Room is an excellent choice for a bridal party and many other special events.

This was a great find in terms of a traditional British pub and dining menu. Unfortunately, the food lived up to the British stereotype - decidedly bland. I'm not British, so maybe it was authentic, I don't know. I just know that, while not bad, the meal we had was nothing special. The pub, on the other hand, was amazing. If you are into whisky at all, you need to check it out. Next time, I think I'll be doing a whisky flight with something off the pub menu.

I brought my wife to Wildflowers Restaurant for Mother's Day lunch on Friday since the kids were in school. We were promptly greeted at the door and found that the restaurant already had our table set for us. It took a few minutes before the waitress came over, but she was very pleasant and explained to me what a banger was when I asked. I had the "steak and stout" and it was very good! I was like a steak pot pie with a strong gravy. I also had a pot of Earl Grey tea. For dessert, I tried the English Trifle - awesome! The other thing I noticed is that I place my reservation through Open Table and someone from the restaurant called me within five minutes to confirm my reservation.

If you go to the Wildflower Cafe, yes. This little gem is on the road to the Jefferson County Airport, tucked inside the Hilltop Inn--conveniently tucked away on top of the hill. If you read the menu before you come you might expect to be served slightly dreary and bland traditional English pub/cafe food. It's traditional English but there is nothing dreary or bland about the chicken mushroom pie. I scrapped up most of the delicate sauce with my chips and refrained from licking the bowl to get the last. Service was attentive but not smothering. They clearly are proud of what they offer and enjoy sharing. They also have a selection of nice teas and for the evening an extensive list of whiskeys.

I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the food -- labelled "authentic British" -- as I have never been "across the pond", but it is delicious! The menu is a travelogue of the British Isles, with everything from Prime Rib to Shepherd's Pie to Fish and Chips. There is a vegetarian selection, too. They boast an amazing list of British beers and ales, as well as Scotch and Whiskey; wine and cocktails, too. And don't miss the house-made "crisps" (potato chips to us Yanks). They are melt-in-your mouth delectable.

I enjoyed the ambience and personal, friendly service. It was my first time at the Wildflower and was happy to find a restaurant that wasn't a formula like some of the chains. I felt like I was back in England having dinner at a local spot. The food was pretty good, but it was the great service and charm that made the evening special.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a co-worker of my husbands. We were looking for a great place to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. Our daughter was able to celebrate with us. We had nothing but a fantastic experience from the time we entered the doors to the restaurant. John seated us and waited on us hand and foot (so the saying goes). We will definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will be back again to enjoy the whole experience. Thanks for a wonderful 31st Anniversary dinner experience!

I have been to this restaurant many times and have always had a great experience. The food, the service, and the environment never disappoints. Small, cozy, and intimate as well.

A lovely way to spend a relaxing 2 hours! The tea was terrific, the scones were amazing, and the sandwiches and desserts simply topped off the whole experience. I would definitely go back.
