William’s is a multi-award-winning seafood restaurant, fishmonger, delicatessen and caterer in the heart of Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.

A veritable Cotswolds institution for over forty-five years, William’s has recently benefitted from a full-scale refurbishment of both the restaurant and shop area in January 2020.

Alongside a 64-cover new restaurant sits a new fish counter displaying an outstanding range of fresh seafood, delivered daily from Scotland and the South West coastline. The adjacent delicatessen offers a large selection of chef-prepared meals, cheeses, charcuterie and terrines as well as fresh fruit and vegetables.

We are proud to have been voted one of Matthew Fort’s ‘Five Favourite Places to Shop’ and one of Rick Stein’s ‘Food Heroes’.

Fabulous experience as ever. Food to die for. Service exceptional and friendly. Just a wonderful wonderful night out. Only slight grumble being it was my 25th wedding anniversary and had booked two months in advance asking for a table by the window. This didn’t happen which was a bit disappointing but frankly an oversight. Will be back again very soon. Tuna to die for.

Been many times and unfortunately today our order was wrong, food luke warm & crab soup very thin & watery. service was not the usual standard & had to ask many times for any thing to appear. Shame after we had really built the restaurant up to the 4 people we took.

Lovely as always - it's a unique place - very relaxed with lovely food and wine, my salmon was delicious with a creamy and very tasty sauce I would have liked some greens though since it was all very rich Chocolate truffles with coffee very yummy!

Outstanding fish restaurant in comfortable room - noise level good with first class service. Pricing reasonable with good wine list. Pleasantly full.
