                                                        Arrived for early service (6PM). I believe the bartender took care of our table, and she did an excellent job. Answered all questions, offered excellent selection advice for the wine, entree, and dessert. We ordered two items to share. Very tasty food, with only one hick-up: One of the entrees was plated with a pesto sauce around the rim of the plate and I am allergic to pine-nuts. After confirming that it was only on the plate and not in the risotto, she offered to have the dish remade or re-plated without the pesto. Great job and no allergic reactions.

                                                        The resort looked very nice, so we thought the restaurant would be too. Every other thing we ordered on the menu was not available; Specialty n/a drink, shrimp, artichoke flat bread. We were given a dinner specials menu that wasn't available. Their version of a GF charcuterie board was not giving you crackers to go with it. The server could not get the wine bottle open. She took it back into the kitchen and didn't serve it to us until after we had had our food for over 10 minutes. But it didn't matter because our hot food was all served at room temperature. Our Caesar salad was served to us with no dressing and they seemed confused when we asked for dressing for it. The server kept saying it wasn't her fault and that she had told the manager, but the manager never stopped at our table. You can't make this up. It was so bad.

                                                        Cute place, oddly we were placed in back of restaurant at a table for 6 under a noisy air handler. Ask for table outside for sunset view. Only had a drink and hummus plate, but food did look good.

                                                        Willows is located inside a hotel and hotel guests receive priority service . We tried to order a beer , but we were told it will be awhile because the bar tender was on a room service call . We arrived at 5:30 with a baby and waited over an hour for our dinner. Wait staff was unattractive. Our food was cold and the steaks were of a lesser grade meat . This dining experience was a total waste of time. This was our first trip to Sedona and now we know where NOT to go next time we visit.

                                                        The food was excellent and the restaurant itself is very nice. The service was lacking. Servers were not knowledgeable and brought food out at weird times.

                                                        17 minutes before water was poured. The restaurant was not full Even at Valentine’s Day. Touted as a wine bar serving Arizona wines, they were out of the several varieties we tried to order. Asked for a decant for our bottle but that did not materialize. The cheese board was good, large for several. We split the Cesar salad, no cheese, no anchovy, with a lemon dressing. Portion was large. Strip steak was a touch underdone but flavorful. Asked for asparagus instead of fries, but again, ignored. After 2 hours we were kind of scooted out of the restaurant as they closed st 9. Asked for a cup of coffee and were told they had not brewed a pot, but they would make us 2 Americanos instead. That never materialized. Check was dropped off and hovered over with a minimum 20% tip. I guess she had a date. Disappointing.

                                                        The location was lovely. The food hmmm; the flatbread was tasty and the chicken portion of our meal was tender and flavorful; however holy granoly the squash was beyond inedible being sooo spicy. After bringing it to the server’s attention we were told it had been marinated too long. He went to the kitchen and returned after 20 minutes with substitution offerings of broccoli or asparagus, way too late. The restaurant was completely empty except for us so there wasn’t an issue with the front or back of the house being overly busy.
