   I booked a table for two through open table for a Christmas dinner with my friend who I hadn’t seen In a while. When we got there we were told it was a special event night and they had no tables except the ones next to the washrooms. Table was unsteady, we were up close to another group and it was difficult at times to hear each other. We had main course and a drink and left. Not the night we were expecting. Always have a wonderful time there with hot food which was lukewarm this time around.

   Wasn't very busy , but it still took a long time to get service and dinner. Waitress was not attentive, had to ask for water and napkins and was then given Luke warm water. Fries were rock hard, Ruben had good flavor but the conrned beef was too thick, so it was chewy.

   Nachos and cottage pie were amazing. Service despite hearing they were short staff was excellent. Server had the best coiffed ’80s hair! You would have thought he was Eddie Van Halen. Overall good time for a Tues girls night out.

   We went for the Irish music on Sunday night which was really enjoyable. The food however was terrible though, I got the Sunday roast beef dinner and couldn’t eat it and ended up swapping dishes with my boyfriend. The meat was fatty and chewy, the mash potatoes and Yorkshire pudding tasted like lots of cheap margarine was added to them and the green beans tasted like they were fished out of the bin. My boyfriend got the cottage pie which was slightly better but still not enjoyable. The service was terrible too, we had to literally wave our arms frantically whenever we wanted our servers attention and were essentially forgotten about the whole time we were there. Would recommend dropping in to listen to the great musicians with a drink and then leaving to dine somewhere else in the area as it wasn’t enjoyable or even near authentic Irish food I’m afraid.

   poor service , poor food had to send it back after finding a server to tell them the food was cold ,

   My husband’s Irish potato soup and bangers and mash were very good. My black bean burger was crispy and had no taste at all. The menu on Open Table was not the same as we were given at the restaurant. The service, however was very friendly and attentive.

   A little bit of Ireland. Sunday the Irish group, close my eyes and I am back on the Emerald Isle. Good choice of beer, roast beef dinner good and black bean burger the best. Enjoyed the visit immensely. Will Repeat.

   Food was not bad, typical pub fare of wings and fries etc. Service was slow and it was noisy because of an ongoing art class.

    Only bummer was we went on a Thursday and there was no live music. Service was spectacular and all the drinks and food were great !
