Located on High St in the heart of historic Old Worthington, Worthington Tavern is a vibrant, locally owned restaurant, bar, and covered patio. Our timeless space inspires a joyful atmosphere and honors Worthington's history.

Our menu features made-from-scratch familiar favorites- all from the finest ingredients. Our bar enlivens your experience with a robust selection of original cocktails, great spirits, craft beer, and enticing wines. Whether it's brunch with old friends, dinner with family, or a night out celebrating, we look forward creating memorable experiences together.

Groups of 8+ guests be rung on a single check and will be subject to an automatic 20% gratuity

Our kitchen is closed from 3pm-4p Saturdays & Sundays.

                                                                      When one of our party was unable to get a side dish item with their entree, chef Derrick came out to the table to let us know, and find an alternative. Such personal integrity in one's craft is not usually seen these days. He also followed up with complimentary desserts to go. Five stars for service from the back of the house on this occasion. Thank you Derrick!

                                                                      We were so pleased with the quality of our food. Anniversary night, and we got free champagne. A little noisy in back because two guys were talking quite animatedly in the booth next to us. Cozy ambience.

                                                                      Great experience for our first visit, specifically for the adults in our group. The adults in our party got the seasonal salad, pasta, and brisket pizza and all three were fantastic. Cocktails were also great! The kids food was a little less of a hit with the cheese pizza lacking flavor and the kids steak being overcooked. I didn’t realized later our waiter did not ask how we wanted the steak cooked so it came out well done and was very tough. I think this can be fixed next time by requesting the correct doneness. The Oreo mud pie for dessert was hit with everyone in the group.

                                                                      Despite having reservations and tickets for the Jazz event , we sat well past many open 4 tops in the main dining room, into the farthest booth tucked in the back corner of the winterized patio. I had to wear my coat to stay comfortable. When I mentioned that we had tickets to see the band, the hostess replied, "You'll be able to hear them from here," as she walked away. The food and drinks were wonderful, but as with the last time, the server was poorly trained. He'd come to get food and drink orders but left empty glasses and piles of plates. I had everything stacked up neatly at the end of the table to make it obvious and easy, but nope. He just left them there. This was my second and final time trying Worthington Tavern.
