Nestled just off one of Savannah's iconic squares, the Wright Square Bistro offers a wonderful array of seasonal, freshly prepared food with a distinctly Southern flair in a casual European style environment. From our plated bistro specialties, gourmet luncheon fare, freshly-made side items and amazing locally-made desserts, there is something to satisfy every appetite. The Wright Square Bistro uses local purveyors whenever possible to have the freshest seasonal ingredients. We offer daily specials and change our dinner menu bi-weekly. The Wright Square Bistro also has an array of wine offerings that center on boutique and organic vineyards rarely found elsewhere, most of which are purveyed by Mary Taylor Wines. We also offer a boutique selection of fine chocolates to satisfy even discerning taste. The Wright Square Bistro is locally-owned and operated by Tod Whitaker and Michael Higgins.

The service by a nice young guy who was probably working his first day in a restaurant. Coffee in addition to being as weak as dishwater, was not refilled until the third request. The food was totally unremarkable and not worth a return visit

It was a quiet day at this cafe but the staff were incredibly gracious. The Southern Waldorf salad with grilled fruit, goat cheese and candied pecans was delicious. My husband enjoyed his Applewood thick sliced panini with avocados as well. We shared a warm, flaky cinnamon roll that melted in your mouth. Since they were about to close, they gifted us a dessert of warm blueberry crumble and lemon cake. We can’t wait to return!

Nice little place. Menu was limited , but something for everyone. Food was excellent with nice portions.. Wines were unique and also good.

Sweet little bistro in the heart of old Savannah. Overall our meal was delicious. Mashed potatoes lacked salt and steak was a bit rare. But in general, feels like a cozy neighborhood eatery. Bonus: parking available on site! Don’t miss this one!

Vanessa I agree with your points! We walk the tightrope with salt in dishes. We sort of decided that the old adage of you can always add more but can't take it out is where we go. As to the steak, I side with you that it probably could have leaned a bit more medium rare than rare. I will talk to chef about that. He tends toward the rare side. But I am glad you had an overall good experience with us. We try really hard to make out guest experiences wonderful! Hopefully we will see you soon! Michael Higgins Co-owner

A gem! Lovely lunch today - Brunswick Stew for me and hubby had the Fredo grilled cheese with the best onion rings ever?

We had soup and calamari appetizers and the chicken fried steak. Everything was good and excellent service from the owners. Definitely recommend for a good meal with excellent value.

We really enjoyed meeting both owners (Todd and Mike), who waited on us. The food was excellent, and the service was great. My wife had the beet salad, and I had the meatloaf sandwich (with Todd’s secret recipe!). We shared a huge piece of homemade carrot cake to top things off. Loved the old, re-purposed wood tabletops…looking forward to a seeing a large piece of cedar that came from a historic plantation, which they plan to use for a bar.
