Yamamori North City is located in the heart of Dublin, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge. Opened in 2007, the restaurant is located in two stunning Georgian Houses and boasts original features which fit well into our modern Japanese theme. In this stunning restaurant, we display some beautiful 19th-century Japanese artwork, and also original Samurai Artifacts.

Yamamori North City is perfect for all occasions and parties, no matter how big or small. Sushi, Tempura, Japanese Grill & Ramen are prepared fresh daily and are some of our staple favourites. We offer an extensive lunch menu that provides a quick yet satisfying option for those on a tight schedule. For dinner, our menu expands to include a variety of traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes, allowing guests to experience a true taste of Japan in the heart of Dublin.

Nose of crisp apple and its delicate sweetness is uniquely balanced with the original umami of Junmai
Warm Soba Noodle + Ozeki Karatamba Honjozo
On the nose a heady mix of chocolate, maple syrup and earthy rice. Expect rich savouriness and caramel hints with a neat dry finish
Beef Don + Shirakabegura Kimoto Ginjo
Its smooth and round aroma profile reveals notes of apple, pear, and dried fruit, as well as a light acidity and a tasty umami
Chicken Karaage + Dassai 45 Daiginjo
This premium sake has dreamy honeydew melon aromas and a light tropical fruity taste.
Hakkaisan Nigori Umeshu
This is a cloudy plum wine made by infusing high-quality domestic plums into the original liquor of Hakkaisan authentic rice shochu

We had a reservation booked and when we entered the restaurant we were waiting 5 minutes before been seen too and when we did eventually get someone we were told to stand against a wall and wait for our table. We got our table and it was in the middle of the floor (because the restaurant was so busy I presume) so we asked the waitress if it would be possible if we could change tables as another one next to us had come free. She said I’ll ask the manager and just never came back with an answer. Food also took an hour to come out which I understand due to it being so busy but two large groups of people who came in 10 minutes after us got their food before us. Food was nice once it came. I asked for a Coke which never came. I then had a voucher to use when paying and when I showed the voucher the waitress rolled her eyes and huffed. I think the restaurant was understaffed especially with it being Valentine’s Day. Overall a very poor experience and would not be in a rush to come back.

Booked a table for 9:15, arrived to a queue of individuals all with bookings. Didn't get s table until 9:45, the couple in front of us had a booking for 9pm. Poor table management, took over 25/30 minutes to get our food then once we sat down. Food was good but just the table management failed a bit.

Decent food. Meat was very fatty in the Karubi and miso was so so. Have eaten much better meals at Yamamouri.

Our overall experience was great. We have been coming to 'Yamamori' for years and always enjoy our meals here. The service is always top notch and the food is delicious. A major pull for us has always been the fact that they have black rice, which is not something we have seen in any other sushi restaurant in Dublin. The ambience is also very nice with the place looking quite authentic. Unfortunately, because we have been going to 'Yamamori' for a long time, we have also seen a significant incremental increase in price. I would find it difficult to say that it offers a great value for money, because some of the sushi of a similar quality (minus black rice) they offer cost 1.5 times more than some of the other similar establishments. It's definitely a place worth a visit if you are looking for quality sushi, but in our particular case, the prices will certainly mean that we will be reducing the frequency with which we're visiting this restaur.

The food was great, the staff friendly and attentive and we were able to stay for hours without feeling any pressure to leave.

Brought senior executives from our parent company in Tokyo to Yamamoro North City to this restaurant and they loved it!! The food and service was top class. A hidden gem believe me!!

Skip this restaurant if you enjoy food sushi. The sushi here is tasteless

Very enjoyable family meal. We chose several dishes to share. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Recommended if you are in Dublin.
