Yamas in Austin is absolutely amazing! The vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and authentic Greek flavors make it a standout. From the fresh tzatziki to the perfectly cooked souvlaki, every dish is a delight. The quality and attention to detail truly shine. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the city!

Perfect place for family and friends! The location was easy to find, everyone was so friendly. Definitely didn’t feel like we were in Austin! Felt like we were teleported to another place without traveling somewhere else. I don’t like being rushed when you’re trying to eat, enjoy each dish and experience the ambience and this place was exceptional.

Thanksgiving menu was delicious and more than enough for two meals! Was really busy and a bit loud but the food and service was excellent. Will be back for regular menu options soon!

This place was awesome. Feels like you’re in Greece food is amazing drinks are handcrafted. Medusa margarita is a must have! We will be back!!

Food was awesome! We sat outside and the patio definitely gives a beautiful Greek vibe. Food was great just a little pricey, but portions are large.

This was my second time dining at Yamas and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Last time, I left feeling the prices for the amount of food you got were high. I'm not sure if I just didn't try enough then, or things changed since last year, but I left this time feeling prices were well priced for the huge dishes we received! We arrived early for our reservation so found a seat at the bar and enjoyed a cocktail while we waited. We tried both the spritz drinks and a fixe beer. The Artemis spritz we very light and refreshing. We were promptly seated and our server very friendly and knowledgeable. Decided to start with a bottle of red, the saganaki and dip spread. We added on some fresh veggies for the dip. Everything came out fantastic. My boyfriend and I shared the chicken souvlaki skewer entree (it's huge - we even took some home), my sister their vegetarian stuffed peppers. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the lemon potatoes are to die for! Our server and others working were prompt and attentive, quick to clear dirty dishes and generally provided a great dining experience. The only thing I wish they'd done different is acknowledge the birthday memo I had for my boyfriend in the reservation. We will 100% be back.

Nice Sunday afternoon vibe when I visited. Music was more like a DJ spinning tunes but I didn’t see one if there was. We were seated near the bar at a nice table for two. Server was friendly and knowledgeable, and our food arrived quickly. Everything was delicious! There were two birthday tables seated next to me and we were happy to join in when the waitstaff sang to them. I feel like we were there during a shift change because around 4:00 the music went into a very contemplative and somber tune and our server disappeared. Another server closed our ticket so no worries there. In all, it was a good atmosphere and excellent food so I will return.

I truly loved the experience at Yamas. It feels like you are stepping into a high-end taverna on Mykonos. The Moussaka was fabulous with all of the right flavors and was very well balanced. I enjoyed the special Yamas cocktail, and our server was an absolute delight. The service was more Greek in style (read: slower), yet I appreciated it on a gorgeous, sunny Sunday. I will return for some wine & the whole fish!

Loved having brunch at Yamas !!! I ordered food from the raw bar menu and it exceeded my expectations!! Ambience is fantastic. It’s a must try Austin restaurant!!!
