10/10 experience. Every single person who worked there was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing and the portions were generous, which I appreciate because of the price point. The food is absolutely worth the price but I gave 4 stars for value because the cocktails/liquor are overpriced. $18 for Lalo and & $15 for a mimosa is absurd. And the cocktails themselves were not impressive enough for the price point either. I would and will definitely go back though.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and was recommended this restaurant. First, I will start out with the drinks. I ordered a Moscow Mule and my gf ordered the eggnog martini and followed up with an expresso martini. The Moscow mule was ehh and my gf didn’t enjoy her eggnog martini (I liked it lol). The expresso martini was a step up from the eggnog martini for her, but where the drinks left a void, the food easily filled it. For appetizers, she ordered the deviled eggs and I order the smoked salmon. Both of the starters were so good. I really could have just ordered the salmon and been happy lol. For entrees, I ordered the YB Nashville Hot Chicken with Brussels at the side and she ordered the fresh catch of the day, which were crab cakes, with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. She absolutely loved the crab cakes and the mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese, she wasn’t the biggest fan of. Overall, I would say the food was amazing. The design of the restaurant is easily one of our favorites to ever dine in. The interior design is so beautiful and enhances the dining experience. Oh!! And the birthday dessert was amazing! It was a cookies & cream ice cream scoop with three fried Oreos. It made me feel as if I was back home in Alabama for a second lol. We will definitely be back to dine again in the near future. Thank you Yardbird for helping make my girlfriend’s birthday one to remember!

We were hoping to experience the hype of great soul food. We were not impressed. Ok, so, we ordered barbecue, fried chicken dinner(a take home meal. I wanted to try the fried chicken👎), collards and butter biscuits. The BBQ is a plate of quasi quality sample servings. The burnends are more like jerky meat. The butter biscuits was the best part of our meal. I must say, my partner did enjoy the protein salad ordered after we saw the size of the BBQ dinner(which we were sharing). Atmosphere is lively, great for big parties and celebrations. Go for drinks not eats. Our service attendant seemed preoccupied but nice. However, it was a busy Saturday night, she deserved a pass. Overall, meals are over-priced and not worth a $35.00 wagu burger!

We started with the Cornbread which is by far the best I have ever had! We then had the Chicken and Waffles and my daughter had the Lobster Mac and Cheese. The Chicken and Waffles is always a winner and the reason we keep going back. I would AVOID the lobster mac and cheese. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! The Mac and cheese part was the best I have ever tasted in my life. It was just divine, but the lobster was over cooked and tough as leather. Is was inedible and my daughter had to leave it! (I did not complain on the night as I only tasted it when we got home (My daughter asked for a take home box because she didn't want a fass made if they asked why she left it! Which annoys me as I would not have paid for that inedible lobster if I had tasted it in the restaurant.) Service was great and we always have a good time at Yardbird. Just so disappointed about inedible and expensive Lobster

We’ll be back. Everything was excellent! We chose the fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Delicious. Our waiter was prompt polite and friendly.

We were greeted warmly as we entered the restaurant by the General Manager, Erica French. She was very kind and sincere in her greeting. The quality and preparation of the food is clearly outstanding. Austin provided exceptional service. If you want a great dining experience, I highly recommend Yardbird Southern Table!
