Serving our weekday breakfast buffet, lunch, dinner featuring a daily 5 course tasting menu and weekend brunch buffet, Yellow Door Bistro believes in elevating classic bistro cuisine with a highlight on local quality ingredients.

Come join us for the "Appiest" of Hours daily in Yellow Door between 3pm - 6pm and enjoy amazing food and beverage features, including 50% all bottles of wine!

FREE PARKING – Our guests receive complimentary self-parking at Hotel Arts in both above ground surface lot and heated underground parkade. Join us before any Saddledome event and we will comp your parking!

    If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then weekend brunch is certainly the most important meal of the week. We treat it with the respect and ceremony it deserves by crafting seasonal weekend buffet selections and a fabulous a la carte menu that’ll spark your curiosity. Our elevated brunch buffet is served Saturday & Sunday from 9am - 2pm and prices at $36 per person for adults and $19 per child. Payment will be taken at the restaurant.     Experience Calgary's vibrant culinary scene with our exclusive YYC Food & Drink Experience lunch menu. Embark on a foodie's dream starting with a delicious confit beet tartare, adorned with pumpkin seed gremolata, Galamax red beets, whipped feta, and frisee. The journey continues with a roasted pork belly (BLT), on house-made sourdough, heirloom tomatoes, black garlic aioli, and romaine served with your choice of sides. Showcasing local influences through our whole wheat house-made sourdough, and locally sourced pork belly end on a sweet note with our yuzu lime cheesecake. Please speak to your server for wine and zero-proof pairings which will be available for each course or a recommended glass for the meal. Only available March 14th through 30th.

        Food was all amazing. Oleg our waiter was on top of our service all night. My wife and I were out on a date. At the end of the night Oleg asked my wife what her favorite color was. After she answered he said he would come back with a gift. He came back with a red rose. Was a really classy move. First time eating here and we will be back.

        We went for the Saturday brunch and enjoyed the great selection of salads and desserts. However, the scrambled eggs and soup were a bit bland compared to our previous visits. Aside from that, the restaurant had a great ambiance and was very kid-friendly.

        I love YD Bistro but this time I was disappointed in the food, and so were some of our guests. It was actually sad to be disappointed because your restaurant is one of my favourite “go to” places, and has been a place I send others gift cards to. Hopefully this was a one-off.

        Service was really slow. We dined for a Sunday brunch and chose the a la carte option and service was few and far between. The servers were very nice and when I asked/checked in on an order and was told it takes time to make the drinks, despite us getting our food which was ordered at the same time… they did end up comping the drinks which was very nice (and not expected) but it was a bit jarring. Overall I would try again because the food was lovely

        Service and atmosphere were great but the buffet was not worth the price. Very few options and there were always key components missing when we went up to get food. The kitchen did not seem to have the pace mastered for buffet style serving.

        I think that it was a bit chaotic due to it being Valentine’s. Staff were overwhelmed and people were sitting at the bar waiting on reservations. We waited 15-20 minutes to be seated a while at the bar, not once were we asked if we would like a drink.

        Staff was very confused and disorganized. Table was never cleaned after our courses, 3 bottles of wine we poured by ourselves and never by wait staff, the dinner courses arrived completely random order. Constantly had to ask for water and utensils

        We enjoyed the valentines menu. We also did the brunch buffet on the 15th and it was fantastic!
