                                                                                                                                        Firstly we'd booked as a table of 5, however when we arrived the table had been set for 4 people and the table was rather cramped. Which as a birthday celebration was disappointing. Starters were good as usual, however our mains arrived without their accompanying sides and took some time to arrive. The serving dishes were also not warmed. Service was just average, not the usual experience that we have come to expect at Zykas. This despite that fact they were not overly busy.

                                                                                                                                        Bookings appear to be meaningless here. Booked for 19:30 but was called a while later and asked to move to 20:30, no problem. Turned up on time and was faced with a crowd waiting. We let them know they were there and was told they were running behind and it would be a 'few minutes' left standing awkwardly behind diners, had to move out of the way of waitresses very frequently. 30 minutes passed and no change, gave up and left with a half arsed apology.

The table we sat at felt a little in the way and on the route to the toilets. The service was a little slow but appreciate they were very busy.

                                                                                                                                        Very enjoyable very first visit at Zayka but won't be the last. There was a small error with my bill but it got quickly rectified. Service was in good time between courses but noone came to check or asked me if everything was ok. Nevertheless portions are generous and the dishes definitely tasty, fresh and truly yummy 😋. Worth not just one but several visits.

                                                                                                                                        First visit to this lovely restaurant for my birthday. We were so impressed with everything here. Food, service, and decor was perfect. The staff even sang happy Birthday to me and presented me with a large slice of delicious lemon cake with a candle on. Cannot fault anything at all. Very attentive service with a smile too. Will definitely return when we can. Recommend it without any hesitation.

                                                                                                                                        It was a very quiet Monday night but the staff made us incredibly welcome. The food was excellent and the portions generous. What really completed a lovely meal was the staff playing Happy Birthday and bringing out cake and ice cream for my wife and offering us a complimentary drink each. Highly recommended and we will return
