ZEST is the second venture for the owners of Grille 3501, an upscale casual restaurant which has sustained continued growth and success for over 20 years. Located on the 6th floor of the Gateway Building on the South Side of Bethlehem, ZEST has had the honor of being awarded the Lehigh Valley's favorite rooftop of 2021, favorite atmosphere of 2020, and favorite new restaurant of 2019. Chef Justin Cogan brings New American cuisine to life with signature dishes including braised beef short ribs and crab & mango spring rolls. The views whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors are unparalleled. The 130 seat balcony lets you take in the sights of the southside like the steel stacks, Fahy and Hill to Hill bridges, and Bethlehem city hall in the distance. ZEST also features a partially open kitchen design, large 20 seat bar, and an indoor space with panoramic accordion sliding windows that let you experience the best of both worlds.

    As always, one of my best dining experiences. The filet mignon was excellent. First time visit for my companion and she raved about the short ribs. Zest never disappoints!

    The server and wait staff must have come over fifteen times in an hour, way too much, food ok, salad completely wilted, cauliflower app good , great place to have a glass of wine but thats it

    First off the drinks were spot on. Appetizer. Chicken dumplings were tasty. We had one of the specials. Pasta and chicken it was very tasty and delicious. Short rib’s were the best. Desert was awesome. Chocolate lava cake with red velvet sauce. All in all a great experience. Will definitely go back.

    Zest was wonderful! We took friends there (we were there multiple times before) for the first time. The noise level was manageable, food was great, service was fabulous (the drinks required a longer than customarily expected wait time) and the ambiance was right on point! Our guests loved it and want to return again soon!

    Had a great time at Zest, drinks were phenomenal. For appetizer we got the bone marrow and the lamb. the lamb didn't have much seasoning on it but paired up well with the chickpeas. the bone marrow was delicious. the entre we got Caesar salad and salmon, both were amazing. the sear on the skin was perfect for the salmon. Dessert we got the crem brulee i'm not a big fan of but i tried it here and i loved it. very flavorful. overall an amazing experience would def recommend to try

    Great location and view, and convenient parking garage. The menu had options for various dietary requirements, but almost every dish was way too salty, which made it difficult to enjoy. Vegetarian couscous entree lacked flavor altogether and the lava cake was hardly warm. Some dishes like the chickpeas and goat cheese salad were flavorful despite also being too salty. However, would not return overall.
