Excellent meal again. We eat here often and it never disappoints. It was really crowded as usual so make sure you always make a reservation. Otherwise the non-reservation line is pretty long.

We (7 of us) were in NYC to celebrate my grand daughters and daughter-in-law’s birthdays and Zia Maria was a must for our trip. Dinner was fabulous and service overall was great except for one VERY disappointing issue. My son ordered the truffle/chicken/pasta/parm that was supposed to be prepared and served table side in a Parm cheese wheel. We didn’t get that experience! The server said it was too crowded and prepared the dish back by the kitchen and bar were we could not see. The dish was delicious but the price included the table side experience we did not receive. My son and two of my grand children went back to watch and were pushed out of the way so they had to return to the table and saw nothing. Don’t offer a product that you can’t deliver.

Clearly the winner in Little Italy. It’s dinner and a show in the classic Italian way. Order the special. Whatever it is. You’ll be glad you did. Only downside is it’s small and crankin busy — if you’re seated by the door and people hold it open you’ll be cold. Everything else from food to drink to service is 🤌.

We were at Zia Maria for our Christmas dinner with two kids. We arrived a bit ahead of our reservation time and didn't have to wait. Unfortunately, we got the table by the door but they made sure that the door stayed closed as much a possible. We enjoyed our dinner very much as well as the service. Yes, it was a bit slow but that's to be expected on a nonstop busy night. The lobster ravioli was amazing and I wish I had taken just lobster instead of the special which had spinach, lobster and cheese ravioli, mind you it was all delicious. Noisy? It's an Italian restaurant on Christmas evening, we expected it to be noisy, at least it was not the annoying kind. Overall, pleasant experience and the only reason it was expensive for us is because of the exchange rate.

So much pressure to order, no deserts on the menu, ... Food was good but nowhere where it should be for that price. Leaving unhappy is never a good sign.
