A reimagined take on French cuisine in the West Village, where Chef Maxime Pradié’s menu draws from the flavors of the South of France and the culinary traditions of his Franco-Italian roots. We hope you’ll join us in our intimate space at 72 Bedford Street, which features the work of local crafts people, to experience our seasonal, ingredient-driven dishes and our thoughtfully curated wine and spirits program by our beverage team, Jenni Guizio and Cory Holt.

Outstanding, creative food! Placed leeks in a mustard vinaigrette with medium poached eggs was unique and delicious . The homemade pate de campagne was classics. The saumon mi cuit was a wonderfully surprising preparation as was the pork collar with shallots. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. And the wine list is extensive with many half bottles of interesting wines. Overall a great experience.

It was an outstanding dining experience. Everything was perfect, the service the drinks, the food, all super fresh and everything had a special twist to it. The atmosphere is energetic and cosy, which I like.

Fantastic birthday dinner at this new French bistro in the West Village. We did cocktails and wines by the glass, which were delicious and fun, although the by-the-bottle wine list is well constructed. On food, the ratatouille was fantastic, as was the asparagus soup with foie gras. We saved room for the Cote d'Boeuf for two, which was one of the best steak dishes we've had in a long time. Desserts were also on point -- a vanilla ice cream with so much vanilla flavor it was almost tropical. Service was very good, especially for a newer restaurant, and while the space is small the noise level wasn't over the top. Great addition to the neighborhood. We'll definitely be back.

The food was quite good, although there was a very big gap between first and second courses, they were extremely busy so that’s somewhat understandable. The staff/hostess/sommelier were all really nice and helpful. The very big, probably defining problem was the extreme noise level. In order to communicate with each other we had to almost have our noses touching. With the small tables very close together and the fact that it’s super popular right now (almost impossible to get a reservation between 6:00 and 7:30) makes for a very loud din. We really wanted to like this place and will try again when hopefully it’s not as crazy.

The food was generally excellent and different than most NYC French restaurants. The salmon was excellent, and the pasta (in a pesto sauce) was also top-notch. The only knock was the ratatouille, which had way too much garlic and the pumpkin was undercooked. The waiter knew the entire menu and the wines/drinks and was quite helpful in making our selections. The small room was quite lively, although on a cold night do not sit near the front door. Overall, a great addition to the West Village scene.

Loved Zimmi’s! I went for dinner with my mother on a Sunday night, food was amazing and the servers were all so attentive. We both received amazing wine recommendations and absolutely loved our time there. Our favorites were the mussels and the pesto pasta.

Another wonderful meal, with a team who work together in a way that makes one feel they are happy to be there, not just for the guests, but for each other. Our server, Dan, was great, and remembered us from our last visit. An eclectic wine list, including a wide range of choices by the glass. Highlights of the meal included the lamb stew, the pesto pasta, and the pork collar. And the vanilla ice cream was wonderful.

Excellent service and the staff was very attentive. Great wine by the glass suggestion from our server. Sorry to say the food fell flat. Oysters with frozen Mignonette sauce did not work. Tasted like we were eating a half frozen oyster. Pesto pasta was good but not good enough to get us to come back. Salmon was bland and totally uninspiring. Too bad we were really looking forward to a great new restaurant in the West Village.
