Across from the historic New Haven Green, ZINC offers an innovative seed-to-plate menu that celebrates the surrounding community.     We had a table for five plus a baby for lunch. Interesting and flavorful menu. Pulled duck tostados were excellent. One friend said the chicken sandwich was the best meal she had over the Christmas/Hanukah holiday. Kitchen made an easy substitution for a food allergy. Only slight gripe was that it was chilly sitting at the front table in the window. Will definitely be back!

    We love this place, but be ready for a whole new menu! We used to love the duck nachos now replaced with duck tostados...they are good but not like the nachos. That could be personal though. The place is still wonderful. Our waiter was amazing a lot of fun. It is now owned by the same restaurant group that owns Union League, but still nothing like Union League-the atmosphere is still the same.

    The menu and quality of food has gone downhill. Zinc has been one of my favorite restaurants in New Haven for many years and now I'm not sure I will return. It is the little changes that make the biggest impact--no fennel bread and chutney; new recipe for lettuce wraps; huge increase in prices.

    Second visit to this establishment for a holiday gathering with coworkers. Everything was smooth from initial reservation, service, food, and goodbye! Each of us traveled from different states - as far away as Maryland for the occasion. Some arrived about 15 minutes ahead and were graciously shown to our table without a problem. We were actually seated at the same table as last year. Everything was lovely and best of all staff allowed us to sit and talk for a good while as they prepared for the dinner crowd. That was a wonderful gesture and really distinguishes a great restaurant. Will definitely go again!

    We had not been to Zinc in 5 years and were looking forward to going back to one of our favorite restaurants. We were surprised that the menu had changed to more of a Thai theme. However, we ordered Japanese popcorn shrimp as an appetizer, which was phenomenal.!! My wife ordered a chicken dish and I ordered a pasta dish. Both were excellent. We intend of coming back soon

    Sat at the bar - very accommodating to the gluten free needs of someone with celiac. Excellent food - we will return.

    We very much enjoyed our visit to Zinc. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I specifically enjoyed the guidance around the new menu options. Our meal choices were delicious. We can’t wait to return.
