Alfresco or indoor dining offers a sophisticated tropical dining experience, an elegant venue for a romantic dinner or casual catch up with friends. The menu presents fine, contemporary Australian cuisine with a hint of French & Italian flare, utilizing the abundance of fresh local seafood, through to locally grown tropical fruit & vegetables.

With an excellent wine list of over 100 wines, combined with a cocktail & beverage menu which includes 8 beers on tap and some outstanding new age cocktails, there’s something for everyone.

Located just a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Four Mile Beach.

It was all just delicious. We had the Ragu, ceviche, rib eye, and fish risotto. Couldn't fault them. We also did the cob loaf - delightful! The service was great, as were the drinks. The service made the experience perfect. A definite go-to.

Located in the beautiful Portico Building on Macrossan St, Zinc proved to be the perfect choice for our girls' night out. From the moment we walked in, the staff showed exceptional hospitality that went above and beyond our expectations. The standout feature was how wonderfully accommodating they were with my 2-year-old daughter. In upscale restaurants, dining with toddlers can sometimes be stressful, but the staff at Zinc made us feel completely at ease and welcomed. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor created such a warm, inclusive atmosphere that made our evening truly special. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with flavors that literally danced on our palates. The restaurant's commitment to using fresh local ingredients really shines through in every bite. Food was lovely, I had the crispy squid, thought there should have been a sauce with it as it was very dry, the salad with it was excellent. It is rather expensive compared to other top end restaurants in town. I am celiac so I loved the choices that I could have, very impressed with that. Overall, we enjoyed our night thank you. Could not fault the staff they were attentive and friendly.

My husband and I had another perfect dining experience at Zinc last night. I must comment too on the professionalism of the wait staff. They are so friendly and welcoming and always elegantly attired. As I have commented on previous visits. It is our very favourite Port Douglas restaurant.
