Stunning food at a really reasonable price for the level of quality. The Jerusalem artichokes were a particularly enjoyable dish unlike anything I’d eaten before. Wine flight excellent value too with two glasses of sparkling wine to begin! With only ten covers, as a diner you just have to prepare yourself for how intimate the restaurant is. The modern music playing disguises conversations from other tables well and a table of six provided plenty of atmosphere but I suspect that if five couples were dining it might feel a little intense. Overall a brilliant meal though; my favourite meal for a few years.

We’ve eaten at The Angel, Addington for years. It’s always been a great place for food, great beer and choice of wine. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s kept very well, clean and well decorated. Just the best out on the terrace on a sunny day or warm summer evening.

Delicious set menu lunch served by attentive friendly staff. Perfect place to spend a couple of hours on a wet Saturday afternoon!

We returned for our 2nd visit on Friday and it was even better than our 1st! We let Manta choose/recommend dishes for our starters and main course and we were not disappointed! The food was exceptional, so flavoursome and delicious. We were lucky that Manta had made a batch of a traditional 'coconut-based' dessert and although we aren't usually sweet tooth, we really enjoyed the unique taste. We can't wait to return again!
