Been several times for lunch and the food and service is always very good. The 2/3 course lunch is outstanding value

Monday night Steak and Grape meal deal was delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly.

Sat in the new extension part rather than original pub,our table was 12.30 so quiet when arrived but filled up as time went on. Staff polite and attentive, soup was tasty and hot, garlic bread with cheese nicely done and hot as well. Roast beef and turkey dinners very nice, which included large yorkshire pud and pig in blanket along with enough roast spuds and something a bit different a cheese and leak soft rosti?, only had one dessert the crumble( could have done with more custard for size of crumble dish but my friend who had it said it was ok as he couldn't finish it all, had coffee to finish off with which thought good value for size of cup ( only £2.50) All in all for a first visit very satisfied will be back again to try something different in the future
