Located in Bloomfield, Connecticut, Republic serves American cuisine with an inventive flair in a gastropub setting. The restaurant has a full bar that features a wide selection of craft beers. Republic offers daily happy hour specials, takeout and catering services. Start out with an order of hummus or bacon-wrapped dates at Republic.     Our first time there and the food and ambience were the shining stars. Service was great, but the atmosphere and outdoor seating created an inviting environment. The food was fantastic and sever hot and quickly, but we got there before the lunch rush started. Pricing was on the premium end for lunch, but well worth the 20% additional compared to other options. It was our first time, but not our last time as we plan to bring friends and try more of Republic’s offering.

    One of our favorite go to restaurants. The main dining room can get somewhat noisy however the side room is smaller and much quieter
