République, located in Miracle Mile, is owned by Chefs Walter and Margarita Manzke. Centered in the heart of Los Angeles, the historic building in which it resides was originally erected in 1929 by Charlie Chaplin, and later transformed into the iconic La Brea Bakery and Campanile Restaurant. République builds on this storied past, offering a gastronomic environment imbued with history and grandeur. The space features a casual bakery, café, and bar in the front with a more formal dining area located in the rear, serving a French-inspired menu created daily by our chefs.

This experience is designed for any party size under 6, and is only available every Thursday and Friday at $250/person. ****** PLEASE NOTE: - Due to limited seating, dietary restrictions will be accommodated within reason. We unfortunately will not be able to accommodate vegan diets at this moment. - A 20% service charge and 4% Healthy LA will be added to your final bill. - Credit cards are required for the reservation. $75/person will be charged as deposit.     The overall experience was perfect! From the delicious and beautifully presented food to the attentive and professional staff, especially the GM who was a joy and very knowledgeable about the food & drink.

    We reserved a table for 7:45 pm for the front of house. We waited for at least 20 minutes before we sat down. The Maitre D did not appear to be aware of the request for the front of the restaurant. No fault to her, it may not have been recorded in the system as this was confirmed over the phone when I changed the reservation from 5 to 4 people a couple days ago. We had a good time. The table we sat at was a bit too dark to see. Our server was very courteous and nice. Food was very well done and we appreciate the wonderful fresh ingredients and the delightful taste.

    Risotto was very mediocre. At $60 a joke Ive had much better at little family places. Service pretty good n ambiance is wonderful.

    Okay, this was an incredible experience. It’s pretty rare that you find a restaurant that excels in food, service, ambience and energy. The food was unreal, it never felt rushed, a beautiful place. Can’t wait to return, 10/10 one of the best in LA
