The Tsuen Wan location on Tsuen Hing Path – there’s another branch in Hung Hom – is particularly popular, and can be reached quickly and easily from Tsuen Wan MTR station. The dishes at Golden Thai Food range from the strictly traditional to the contemporary, with some options like the mashed garlic bun strips (rectangular strips of garlic bread served hot) featuring some Western influence. There are snacks aplenty at this popular restaurant, so be sure to order up some shrimp balls with cheese or deep fried preserved egg balls before diving into an order of fried rice with crab meat or the abalone, potato and chicken cartilage with salt and pepper.
