Since its humble beginnings in Detroit during the 1940s, the Cheesecake Factory has continued to please guests at numerous locations across the country. It began with Evelyn Overton, who created a high-demand, mouthwatering cheesecake recipe and opened her first cheesecake shop. Now, her son David has furthered her dream with the Cheesecake Factory, which has been dubbed the Overall Winner for Casual Dining Restaurants by the Nation's Restaurant News Consumer Picks.From pizza and pasta to burgers, steaks, seafood and much more, the Cheesecake Factory has a dish for any palate. With such a wide variety and high volume of menu choices, it is nearly impossible to pick a favorite. Guests rave about the Sunday brunch, which features omelets made with farm-fresh eggs, sweet treats like the Belgian waffle and signature creations like the baja chicken hash.
