Prepared with the freshest local ingredients from the surrounding suburbs of Chicago, NEAR's menu options change seasonally, but many favorites can be found year round. With over 20 years of experience, proprietor and chef Gaetano Nardulli seamlessly blends old-world Italian charm with contemporary cooking techniques for a unique and praised dining experience. Whether serving dinner to a group of friends or a couple celebrating a romantic evening out, NEAR Restaurant aims to please. Appetizers include options like fried chickpeas, grilled octopus or arugula salad. Entree options feature multiple traditional pastas and tender chicken, steak or pork. Pair one of NEAR's dinners with a red, white or sparkling rose wine to complete the meal.
