Bourbon & Bones is a rustic American eatery that specializes in Southern and Cajun preparations. The restaurantÕs interior has a quirky and old-school design, complete with blackboard menus, a stuffed boarÕs head hanging on one of the walls and the American flag pinned to the ceiling. Bourbon & Bones also features a full service bar. Popular appetizers to begin with include fried oysters with sauce gribiche and the low country shrimp boil. Lighter starters include the restaurantÕs daily fresh salad, which features the best local produce. For the main course, try one of the house plates. Each dish includes choice of meat, two sides and sliced onions and pickles. Meat options available include pulled pork, brisket, sweet heat ribs and fried chicken. Side options include coleslaw, mac and cheese, collards with ham hock, mashed potatoes with gravy and dirty rice.
