Batak is known for its juicy and delicious barbecue dishes, such as the indispensable „ćevapi“, gourmet patties, and „vješalice“. In addition to the classics on the Batak's menu, you can find quality rib-eye steak, salmon fillets, burgers, and BBQ ribs and wings. The expert team of this restaurant chain always tries to keep up with the trends so the regular menu is occasionally enriched with interesting new dishes. In the category of dishes, you can also find the creamy burrata and beef tartar. There are 15 Batak restaurants in Zagreb and 3 on the coast.

Batak is a great restaurant and we love it for every occasion. However, this time the table was near the main entrance so it was quite cold and the overall experience was a bit disturbed by the constant flow of people.

Unatoč punom restoranu, hrana nije kasnila niti je bila slabije kvalitete. Ugostitelji su svi bili profesionalni i nekoliko puta se ispričavali radi dugog čekanja, koje mi nismo osjetili. Ugostitelj je za svako naše pitanje imao odgovor ili dobar prijedlog i to nam se najviše svidjelo, pohvala cijeloj ekipi. Odlična usluga, odlična hrana i zato se uredno vraćamo nazad!

Last night, we made an outdoor reservation at Batak to enjoy a lovely dinner on our final vacation evening. Upon arrival, it turned out that sitting outside was not an option, and we were not informed about this in advance. We were seated at a noisy table in the middle of the restaurant. Once seated, we ordered appetizers and, on the waiter’s recommendation, a good bottle of champagne. After finishing our appetizers, we suddenly found out that we could no longer order main courses because the kitchen was already closed. The waiter was unaware of the kitchen's closing time. No effort was made to compensate us in any way. We were simply told to find another restaurant to continue our meal. Outrageous! This was not how we imagined our last evening. The bill was completely out of proportion with what we received, very disappointing.
