With over 80 years of continuous family ownership, RingSide Steakhouse is a legend in the world of steakhouses. Start with RingSide's world famous onion rings...a recipe that is a closely held family secret. Choose a steak from a menu offering a variety of USDA Prime selections that are aged a minimum of four weeks and hand cut on the premises. Choose a wine from more than 900 labels. Wine Spectator has recognized RingSide Steakhouse yearly with its Best of Award of Excellence since 2001.

    Wonderful evening celebrating Christmas with family from out of town. Service from Tyler was joyful, food outstanding, and ambience is always the best. Looking forward to a return visit.

    The food is outstanding! However, It took at least a half hour after being seated before we were greeted at our table. It was VERY loud where we were sitting as there were two parties in the same small room that were making way too much noise. It was impossible to carry on a business conversation. That being said, the food made up for the slow service and loud tables.

    After having had our reservation well in advance and looking forward to a special occasion with ambiance we were greatly disappointed. We were shown to a brick room where two other couples were seated—around a very loud group of 7 people. Zero ambiance and the room was cold. Some were dining with their coats on for warmth. I ordered the prime rib, which was sinewy and tough. Some time later when the waiter checked on us I told him and showed him how it was full of stringy things. His offer of a different piece this late in our meal was not appealing so I rejected that. My husband’s $85 steak was very good. As a side, I ordered a baked potato. It tasted reheated and starchy. We decided that we should have gone to Morton’s instead.

    When making reservations I would make sure to ask for a table or booth in the main dining area. We were seated in a back room, boxing memorabilia on the wall, that was an echo chamber with a large group of loud people!!! The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Monday eve. Staff was pleasant and somewhat attentive. The steaks were good. Not an ideal dining experience due to the location that we were seated.
