    When we arrived, the receptionist was very rude. She said there were no seats available, even though we had reservations. Finally the general manager seated us. The wait service was good & the food delicious, though a little expensive. It also was quite noisy & hard to hear the others at our table. The general manager was very nice. She came back to our table to make sure we were OK.

    The woman who was at the hostess stand seemed really annoyed when we checked in. We decided to sit at the bar instead of at a table. The hostess had her personal belongings on a bar stool and an open Tupperware of food on the bar. She sat at a table on an iPad almost the whole time we were there! The bartender was the saving grace!! She was so friendly and make a wonderful espresso martini. She checked in on us often. When I went to the bathroom the entire hallway was full of stacked chairs...very sloppy! In the bathroom the paper towel holder was broken and a roll was on top. This aesthetic was not what we expected. The soap dispenser was empty and there was a bottle of soap on the sink. Again, this level of establishment should take care of these little things. When we left I noticed a trash bag full of trash on a chair on the front patio AND a shopping basket from Giant. Won't be back!

    It was about 6 months since we last ate at Castello. Food was good, not great, like it was in the past and should be for the price. Long wait for our table despite our reservation. They seemed short on servers.

    Consistent and outstanding waitstaff service. An array of scrumptious menu options. Our entrees are always cooked to perfection and there is never a sense of being rushed.

    Always enjoy this beautifully appointed restaurant with superb, personal, thoughtful service. Grilled artichokes are prepared, presented, and seasoned perfectly. The pesto oil for bread dipping is excellent. Tonight we enjoyed the orange roughy with crab. And had my favorite dessert: warm chocolate chip cookies in iron skillet. Perfect dinner and we were able to watch and enjoy the Eagles win!

    Food was exceptional, and the platters were extremely large. The service was just at the right pace. We’ve been there before, but definitely will be gone back soon.
