Home of the Wet Woody ® and storybook sunsets, Riva Grill is Tahoe South’s premier lake front restaurant located in the Ski Run Marina. The 3,000 square foot deck overlooking Lake Tahoe comfortably seats 200 guests and is a dining experience that is second to none. Floor to ceiling windows in the two-story restaurant provide an equally epic view of the Sierras and Lake. Since 1998, visitors and locals alike have flocked to Riva for the best food and service in town. Try the bacon-wrapped filet and scampi with Point Reyes Bleu Cheese butter, the renown grilled or blackened fish tacos with apple-jicama slaw and micro cilantro or any of their home made wood fired pizzas, to name just a few. Additionally, a visit to Riva Grill would not be complete without trying their world famous Wet Woody ® signature cocktail. The rum and fruit juice blended drink will leave you with cold hands and a warm heart and certainly wanting one more.

Parking details
There is always plenty of parking available at Riva Grill. Complimentary valet parking is provided, lunch and dinner, seven days a week during the summer season. Additional parking is accessible in the lot adjacent to Riva Grill where the first 90 minutes of parking is complimentary.
Public transit
Riva Grill is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe where Ski Run Blvd. meets Lake Tahoe. We are one mile west of the Heavenly Gondola; on the south side of highway 50, and a quick ride by taxi cab, Blue Go transit or bicycle. Many folks choose to walk here on warm summer evenings and return by taxi. Plenty of bicycle and kayak parking available.

Spent Christmas dinner here with our 3 teens. It was a perfect evening in every way. The ambience & view of the lake are hard to beat (4 pm dinner rez). The food was very good (only reason not perfect was wife's medium rare was a little undercooked). My son had the prime rib -- delicious. I had the salmon, our appetizers were great. The service was splendid...how often do you take your teens to dinner and they rave about how good dinner was?? We will definitely be back whether in summer or winter.

Very disappointed with Riva Grill for not having their Special Christmas Menu all day. We made reservations for Christmas Day based on the menu that was advertised. When we arrived at 1p we learned that menu was for the evening only. Our server offered to change our reservation to later but we were there and hunger so we stayed. Every table that was seated around us had the same question about why the Christmas menu wasn’t available all day. In my experience, on special holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, restaurants have a special menu all day. We were really disappointed as we thought we were going to have a nice Christmas meal, not hamburgers and sandwiches. On a positive note, the crab cake appetizer was very good.

Great venue for a special celebration or a holiday. While prices are a tad higher than most places, it is a gorgeous place with excellent service.

We are pleased with Location, food quality & service received from the waitress waited our table. However, when we seated, the restaurant wasn’t yet busy, we requested to be seated the table on the 2nd floor for better lake viewing. Although the restaurant accommodated our request, but the hostess had an unfriendly attitude towards to us all the way which it left us a bad note

Our server Ashley was great! Very personable, attentive and knowledgeable. Also a great view of the lake. Highly recommend!
