Getting to River Cafe is just a walk in the park.

Access River Café on Prince's Island Park from:
1. North side crossing the Bow River and Memorial Drive at the Calgary Curling Club.
2. South East end of the island at the 2nd street SW bridge, directly East of Eau Claire Market.
3. South West end of the island at 6th Street SW and Eau Claire Way near the Peace Bridge.
Eau Claire Plaza is currently closed for construction.
Please note, only our Afternoon Menu is served daily from 4:00pm-5:00pm.

Set in scenic Prince Island Park by the Bow River, the restaurant’s rustic decor and menu are both inspired by the surrounding nature. Local, seasonal ingredients star in dishes like Lambtastic Farm lamb sirloin with Sudo Farms zucchini. The Wine Spectator-recognized wine list highlights sustainable vineyards.

                                Amazing 5 course tasting Menu. Food quality was excellent. Creativity of flavors was excellent, plating of food was excellent, very fair place for tasting Menu, highly recommend it so you can taste lots of different food. Nice and quiet on. Monday night in March. Love the unique location (have to walk to get to it, no parking on-site it seemed)

                                The food was excellent and our server was fantastic. He had great recommendations and made our experience fun. You can't beat the atmosphere at the River Cafe.

                                I had a guest visiting Canada and it was a perfect pick. It was a great restaurant with Canadian ambiance, great food and awesome staff. The walk to the island adds a lot to the experience.

                                We enjoyed every aspect of our first visit to River City. Beautiful venue window view of the river, excellent service and outstanding food. I especially enjoyed the lamb.

                                We enjoyed absolutely everything about our experience at River Cafe. We went for their YYC EXP lunch and it was great value for the price. Highly recommend this restaurant!
