Located adjacent to the Ralph Lauren Chicago flagship store on Michigan Avenue, RL Restaurant features the vision and décor of Ralph Lauren in a modern club atmosphere.
RL Restaurant offers classic American cuisine inspired by Ralph Lauren’s personal favorites. Seasonal dishes range from a chopped vegetable salad to a lobster roll sandwich, grilled fish of the day and steaks. We have dined at RL's several times over the last few years. Located just steps from Michigan Ave in the heart of Chicago. Make sure you get a reservation if you are hoping to go; it seems like it has been busy each time we've been there. The tables are placed close together so, if you prefer something a little less intimate with fellow Chicagoans, you may want to look elsewhere. Related to the close proximity it is "energetic". The ambiance is great and reflects the taste of Ralph Lauren. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation and our waiter brought bread and water to the table. We ordered cocktails and settled in for an enjoyable evening. The service was great as was the food. We passed on the desserts but, judging by the looks of them, they're probably fabulous. Highly recommend this restaurant.

While the restaurant was totally packed for our 4:45pm reservation, our server was exceptional and made sure to be as attentive as possible. The food was excellent and while the prices may seem expensive, the quality of food is very high and I think the prices are extremely fair. We ordered the New York strip, roasted chicken, and burger as well as a side of cauliflower which was incredible. I would absolutely return.

We have continued our tradition of having our first meal when we arrive into town at RL Restaurant. Everything was great. The crab cakes were amazing.
