Roberto Paciullo opened his namesake restaurant almost twenty years ago. Since then it has become a neighborhood favorite and a destination for those visiting Arthur Avenue. He prepares the cuisine of his beloved hometown Salerno, Italy. The specials change weekly and reflect Roberto's creative use of the local ingredients from pasta in cartoccio to the perennial favorite veal osso buco.
Now closed Mondays for the time being.

Roberto's Restaurant is excited to announce that we are doing Valet Parking on Saturdays for dinner. If you decide to park with us, there will be a $10 fee for parking. There is street parking in front of the restaurant which is metered until 7pm. There is also a municipal lot between Arthur Ave. and Hoffman St. which is metered until 10pm.

TRAIN VIA METRO NORTH Harlem line to Fordham Road. New Haven Line to Fordham Road. SUBWAY Take the #4 or the D train to Fordham Road and take the #12 bus heading east. take the #2 o #5 train to Pelham Parkway then the 312 bus heading west.

The food here is just so good. We are members of NYBG and used to go to a different Arthur Ave restaurant for dinner every time we visited, but now we just come here. The shrimp and corn burrata is a must-get, and everything we've had off the "chalkboard menu" is a winner. Reservations are a must. Plan on a leisurely dinner.

Quite simply the absolute best restaurant in the Bronx and likely New York City. Roberto is a master.

A group of 7 in three generations was greeted with energy, smiles and terrific menu options. The service was the best, engaging with two small children, with wise options and great timing. Each course was a gem from appetizers to salad to fish and pasta entrees. A special birthday treat was delivered along with a candle in a delicious cheese cake! Roberto's got it right on all points! Definitely on our list for return visits!

We had a lovely experience, our first visit, with more to come, for sure! The staff were hospitable without being overwhelming, drinks were delicious, as was the wine at a good price point. And then the meal - the bread! was so good - a great start. Our cheese and meats platter was just great quality for the cost. Yum! We liked our main meat, dishes, but they weren't as perfect. The veal with squash was tasty, but missing something. My chicken with spinach and smoked mozzarella was pretty heavy, though the marsala wine sauce was exceptionally good, I have to say. THEN, we ordered the ricotta cake with dried fruit. OMG it took me back to my childhood. The flavors and texture were terrific and the texture, and the combined flavors were wmagically satisfying.

I had to try this Arthur Avenue Restaurant after learning that Roberto is the chef who created Zero Otto Nove, where I have celebrated some of our family's favorite memories with the most amazing food! I made a 2PM reservation on a Saturday, and was a bit late. When I walked in, the other members of my party had ordered, because the kitchen closes at 2:30. I'm glad they ordered a few dishes, but would probably have ordered a few more just to try more things had I been on time. Regardless, the dishes I tried were fabulous. Best was the pasta in foil. Loved a chicken dish in pesto with zucchini, and another chicken dish with a wine sauce and spinach. I need to return, probably for dinner, and I will order a bit of everything! From what I tried, I think this is a 10 out of 10, and I'm looking forward to returning with friends.

Another outstanding visit to one of my favorite restaurants! Lanny was the waiter and he is outstanding…the food was exceptional and I can’t wait to go back!

Awesome dinner- only 3 tables on election night. They gladly split appetizers and entrees over multiple rounds. Food was fantastic as usual and best wine list on Arthur Avenue
