Owners Joseph and Nes Jaffre invite you to enjoy memorable dining, beautiful accommodations and exceptional service in a landmark New Canaan inn within an hour of New York City.
The dining room and bar feature French-inspired American cuisine with an extensive wine list as well as cocktails and light bites at the bar.

Individually-decorated rooms and suites offer modern conveniences, luxury bath products and mini bars with gourmet snacks.     This is truly my most favorite restaurant over many years but not a good experience last night. A private party with DJ in a room next door made it challenging to have a conversation with my husband. Although the food was good we cut our time short and left. Perhaps closing the door for the private party would be a suggestion.

    The food was just amazing!! My son had the lobster special and I had the beef Wellington. One of the best meals we’ve ever had. And service is so friendly.

    The live music was great. The service is always impeccable. Food is good it’s expensive but you know what you are getting. This is a special place for a special night!

    My husband and I had a lovely Sunday morning brunch. It was excellent! The quality of the eggs were so fresh, the menu was excellent and the coffee and fresh French bread to start made it extra special. Quality and double quality of great ingredients and a balanced menu. Highly recommend.
