Blending classic techniques with adventurous Pacific Rim flavors, culinary pioneer Roy Yamaguchi created an entirely new approach to fine dining. The first Roy's opened in Honolulu in 1988 and we've spread our warm hospitality and passion for innovative and creative cuisine around the world ever since.     The food and service were excellent. I appreciated the phone call in advance to confirm our reservation for Valentine's as it allowed me to get an earlier reservation time. The only downside was that they ran out of the dessert we wanted. Great experience overall! We will be back.

    Food was excellent, service started off well. However, staff were clearing plates while one person was still eating appetizer, then asked if we wanted dessert while still eating main. All very rushed in the end, disappointing.

    Great service and food. Had a private dinner over a year ago and it was great. The server knew who got what entree and that is one of my pet peeves when they do not remember and will ask “who got the xxx”. Our party of 3 last night for a birthday dinner for my sis was the same. The only problem was that they did not do anything for the celebration when the hostess and server knew that plus they don’t validate parking anymore.
