Blending classic techniques with adventurous Pacific Rim flavors, culinary pioneer Roy Yamaguchi created an entirely new approach to fine dining. The first Roys opened in Honolulu in 1988 and we have spread our warm hospitality and passion for innovative and creative cuisine around the world ever since.     Food was excellent. Used a special promotion that made value very good, but we’ve been going for 24 years and prices have escalated recently to the point that we go much less frequently. Today was a really good value due to their current promotional discount.

    We had pork ribs, butter fish, mahi mahi special, filet mignon and short rib. All were excellent as well as the service. It was very cold in the restaurant and I have noticed this before as well. The. A/c needs to be turned up a notch.

    Food and service was excellent. The prices keep going up so we cannot go as often as we would like to. We started with happy hour for the Hawaiian martini but they were not as good as usual. That was the only disappointing thing of the evening.

    I love to eat at the prep counter. Chef Johnson runs an efficient and friendly team. Lobster tails were outstanding as was the spare rib appetizer. Service efficient. A delightful dinner.

    We chose Roy’s in Bonita Springs to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They were so kind in welcoming us and wishing us a happy anniversary. No fewer than 7 people stopped by at various times to be sure we were having a good time and wishing us well. We received a lovely anniversary card and note and a beautiful dessert at the end of our exquisite meal. No one could have done more to make our special day truly memorable. Thank you staff at Roy’s for your special attention and courteous service to us.

    Everything was pleasant and mostly well-paced, with a lag here and there. Some salads came out without some ingredients like avocado on them. The sauce for my entee was served poured onto the full dish instead of on the side as I requested. Still, we had fun and enjoyed the evening.
