Ruth's Chris Steak House in Birmingham, Alabama is situated in the lobby of the Embassy Suites hotel conveniently located just off the Red Mountain Expressway between the Homewood and Mountain Brook neighborhoods.     Consistently amazing. I travel a lot and eat at many different steak houses. Ruth's Chris has proven to me time and again their consistency with high quality food and great service! They have become my "go-to" place wherever and whenever the steak need arises. And an extra shout out to Brandon our waiter in Birmingham...top service!!

    We celebrated our 14 th wedding anniversary. Brandon and Jackson were the best servers. We look forward to seeing you guys again next year.

    We are here on a whim we wanted a steak at the last minute and this was the best place that had availability. Lucky for us we were seated at a great table and a very bubbly and kind waitress. She attended to us perfectly even with all the large Holiday parties going on we never felt ignored nor unimportant! Food was delicious steaks were perfectly cooked! They actually have the onion rings (highly recommended) on the menu ( in Mobile you have to request the ahead of time) so we were excited to get them, because of the large parties they were actually out of the onion rings 🙃 but our great waitress actually asked the manager if there was something that could be done for us and he graciously took it upon himself to make them for us!!!! Excellent attention to customers needs*** So with all this I’m going to tell you that you absolutely need to request Rana when you book a reservation, she’s absolutely lovely and we will request her every time from here on out!!!!

    Bone in cowboy ribeye was fantastic! Sides not so much. Broccoli over cooked and creamed spinach under cooked. Waitress did not write down order so had to come back a 2nd time. Also, forgot a drink ordered! Not up to usual standards but then a HOLIIDAY

    Service was exceptionally slow, were out of many menu items, and food was disappointingly substandard. Had Thanksgiving at RC in Indianapolis last year, and everything was fantastic. Expected same experience in Birmingham. Unfortunately, it was not!

    Manager very understanding Cold food dinner came when eating salads Kitchen overwhelmed not enough kitchen staff Slow service it’s a shame that the kids chicken fingers was the best meal which came after we finished dinner Over half of the desert menu want available

    Lovelybspotnfor an elegant meal in Birmingham. The service was friendly and accommodating, the food was well-prepared and tasty (though my entree' arrived only warm, not hot. Overall? We'll be back again soon. Excellent, and worth every penny. Top tip: the seafood gumbo is absolutely world-class.
