Ruth's Chris Steak House La Cantera Terrace opened November 2015 in the beautiful la Cantera community next to the Eilan Hotel .
Enjoy award-winning cuisine and gracious hospitality and allow us to tempt you with a range of entrees from the finest USDA prime steaks, to the freshest seafood and poultry, imaginative side dishes, unforgettable desserts and an award winning wine list.

Your steak is carefully selected from the finest USDA Prime beef available. It is aged to perfection and cut by hand at the restaurant. Your steak is broiled - to your exact order - at a searing 1800 degrees Fahrenheit to lock in the corn-fed flavor and natural juices. Served hot and sizzling. In fact, you can actually hear your steak sizzling from across the room.

    Wonderful experience! The food was delicious and Kiana was amazing! She gave us the space to enjoy our meal and each other. Her timing was superb and her service was excellent!

    Food and service were nice. However, if you are part of the loyalty reward program, you may not receive your points. My bill came out to $426 and I was not able to have them added to the loyalty program.

    First visit back to a Ruth Chris steak house in a few years; we went for a steak dinner on Christmas day in the evening; had reservations. Our table was not ready; asked if we wanted a booth, we said fine so we were taken to a booth that was occupied. Back to the hostess and waited about 20 more minutes for a table. Service was good, as I remembered it to be. We had calamari, salads, 16oz ribeye done medium and grilled aspargus which were all good except the steak was disappointing. Cooked medium as requested but the steak was tough. I am always disappinted when a restaurant that touts their "prime" cuts of beef are not as good as a "choice" cut grilled at home.

    The room they put us in was 66 degrees. I asked if the could make it warmer. Answer was no. Never going back

    Great service-very attentive! Petite fillet was perfect and the sweet potato casserole is life changing!!

    We dined Christmas day. The hot tea was luke warm. The coffee tasted like water. The oyster rockerfeller did not taste fresh. My husband’s sea bass was not seasoned. The bread pudding tasted like it had been sitting next to something savory prior to it being served. A good bit of our meal was not enjoyable. We were very frustrated with the experience. We normally travel during the holidays. Our tradition has been to dine at different Ruth Chris on Christmas Day. We may seek alternative venues in the future.

    Everything was great. Good service and good ambience. Only problem was the Au Gratin potatoes. Yuch. Manager replaced them with a different potato (mashed) which was great. All in all, so much better than last year when we were forced to wait 30 to 45 minutes in spite of reservation. Of course we will return

    Didn’t care for the dog in the restaurant. Non service dog. Brought in the dogs food and mat to lay on. Then dog put his head on the table. We left but the dog probably ate off the owners plate. Unacceptable for any restaurant and especially a fine dining establishment like Ruth Chris.
