Ruth Chris Steak House in Louisville, KY serves the finest USDA Prime beef available, broiled at 1800° and served on 500° plates, so your steak stays hot, juicy and delicious from first bite to last. Enjoy our New Orleans-inspired appetizers, USDA Prime steaks, fresh seafood, signature side dishes and homemade desserts. All this while you enjoy our warm, inviting atmosphere and Ruth’s Chris’ genuine hospitality. Whether you’re a regular or have just been wondering what all the buzz is about, Ruth's Chris is the perfect excuse to enjoy the perfect night out. Dinner is served nightly, reservations are suggested. Private dining and offsite catering may also be arranged. We ask Guests to support our family-friendly atmosphere by not wearing:
Clothing with offensive graphics or language.
Exposed undergarments, cut-off shorts and tank tops.
We ask all Guests to remove hats when entering. (Please note - hats and team support jerseys (tank tops) are welcome in our bar and patio areas.

    The salad with blue cheese was wonderful as was the steak and lobster tail. The waiter recommended some good wines and some good dessert that we took home. This is a wonderful restaurant that I would highly recommend.

    Service was great. Food was good but there was 5 of us and 2 of us asked for our steaks medium and they were definitely well done. No pink at all. It was Christmas Eve and they were packed.

    Really enjoyable dinner, very prompt and professional. My meal was excellent and plenty of it. Shrimp cocktail and my steak were awesome The manager visited my table and was very pleasant to share conversation. A bit later another manager checked on me. Great service , atmosphere, and my meal was top notch. This is how you run a steak house . I will definitely be back !

    We we’re warned by a ruthless Chris employee phone call asking if we would push our reservation back from 6:45 to 7:15, but we had to work next day so said we didn’t want to change our time but would try to be patient. WS supposed to be seated at bar, but after waiting 30 min staff asked if we’d sit in restaurant area so we did. I asked for steak well done and butterfly so to make sure but it came medium well and was sent back. Other guest was supposed to get the special of steak with crab and sauce but only steak came. Finally after requesting her crab had to return steak to warm back up. Everyone ordered split chopped salads except me and my husband, but ours looked like split. Finally they brought us another split
