Last year birthday dinner was horrific. First we were seated directly outside the kitchen, a lot of traffic then food was wasted in our table. Asked to be moved and was told the only available area was on the other end, which was also right outside the kitchen. Then, a large party of loud teenagers were seated next to us reaking of weed. The only saving grace was the food was hot and deliciously served.
Prior to making birthday reservations this year, I emailed the restaurant manager and reminded them of my experience and requested not to be seated by the kitchen nor large parties. Arrived and was told by Beth, the dining room was filled and we needed to wait to be seated or we could sit at the bar. Why would you offer me bar seating when I was very specific in my email to you about seating. After about 20 minutes, Beth comes to seat us and takes us to a booth directly by the kitchen, when ai said No, I specifically emailed and stated I do not want to be seated by the kitchen, Beth very rudely and stressfully turned and said well this is all we have tonight. I turned around to walk out and my guy said there is a booth over there, let’s go sit there. To add insult to injury after we sat down Beth comes to the table and throws a birthday card and menu down. As I was telling my Guy I want to leave, Willie our server walked up and said I apologize for what happened, I assure you I am going to provide you the best service tonight to make you forget about any previous experiences.
Willie delivered on his word; his customer care and service was top notch excellent. Thank you again Willie!
The overall experience was rushed, the steak was tough and overcooked and the spinach came out cold, but my Guy didn’t want to say anything. No birthday treat was given but I was offered to buy dessert before the kitchen closed at 9pm.
Two years of disappointment, mainly due to Beth, which has caused me to never visit this particular location again!
