I wanted to take a moment to share feedback regarding our dining experience on December 17th during our recent visit to Puerto Rico. My wife and I chose your restaurant for our last dinner during our honeymoon, as we hoped for a memorable evening to conclude our trip. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of the expectations we associate with a fine dining establishment. We had a reservation at 7:15 PM and were promptly seated. Our server, Chris, provided excellent service throughout the evening, and we appreciated his professionalism and attentiveness. However, several issues with our meal marred the overall experience 1.Appetizer Issue: We ordered calamari as an appetizer. Upon tasting it, we found it undercooked and overly chewy. When we sent it back, it was returned to us refried rather than replaced, which was disappointing but acceptable at that point. 2.Entrée Issue: Both my wife and I ordered the surf and turf special with medium filet mignon and lobster tail. While my dish was cooked perfectly, my wife’s steak was very rare in the center. After sending it back twice, the same steak was returned to us, first still undercooked and then overcooked to the point of being well-done. By the end of this ordeal, my wife had lost her appetite and did not eat her steak. 3.Lack of Managerial Attention: While Chris was apologetic and handled the situation as best he could, we were surprised and disappointed that no member of management approached our table to address the situation or offer an apology in person. A 60% discount on my wife’s entrée was applied to the bill, but this gesture felt insufficient without direct acknowledgment of the issues we faced. As frequent patrons of fine dining establishments in Sarasota, Florida, we had high expectations for our evening with you, especially given the occasion. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to detail in the kitchen and the absence of managerial engagement left us deeply disappointed.請問這對你有幫助嗎?

Our waiter Juan was fabulous. He is why we went back a second night in one week. My husband had the steak and lobster and I had a really fillet. We also had cheesy potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection and Juan was always there with another cocktail!請問這對你有幫助嗎?

We both enjoyed a wonderful meal. I had steak and lobster which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the. Crusted Seabass and he liked that very much as well. Steaks were great...cooked to perfection. Shrimp cocktail was on the small side. Garlic mashed potoes were perfect. Broccoli was over cooked..a little mushy. Soft drinks are served in glasses that are too small. Lobster tail was a little over cooked..but was large in size.請問這對你有幫助嗎?

What a wonderful experience! My wife and I love to dine at top steak houses and our experience at Ruth’s Chris San Juan was amazing. Atmosphere and furnishings are both extremely comfortable. Service was just outstanding, our waiter was on top of everything and treated us royally. We started with fried calamari that was seasoned perfectly and delicious, we both ordered the fillet and I have to say it was one of the best fillets I have ever eaten. We ordered a loaded baked potato that was cooked perfectly and the lobster Mac and cheese that was terrific! Cappuccino’s that were excellent and a chocolate lovers cake that was also excellent.
