At Home Block Restaurant, we embrace the bounty of the Okanagan while our name pays homage to the Home Block Vineyard which surrounds us. Our building is crafted from fieldstone and 100-year-old reclaimed barn wood and our cuisine draws on those elemental roots. We integrate natural cooking methods like our wood-fired grill fueled by timber from local orchards and seasoned barrel staves. The result is honest, confident, and approachable food that unites flawlessly with CedarCreek wine.
The name BLOCK ONE represents the first vineyard planted in 2009 and is very special to Proprietors Sheri-Lee and Curtis. “It taught us to be farmers; to be ONE with the land. There are things we will never experience again. That vineyard block represents the past – the starting point, getting our hands dirty, all the ‘firsts’ of our business”. BLOCK ONE represents the future as this vineyard block now produces some of the estate’s finest fruit for our international award-winning wines. You will be amazed by the outdoor seating area of the restaurant. Seating is covered by an engineering wonder in a one-of-a-kind cantilever that is already drawing attention in the world's architectural community. The restaurant moves to an equally impressive indoor space during inclement days and in the winter months.

La Bussola has been serving Kelowna since 1974 and is proud to boast the largest wine selection in the Okanagan today. La Bussola is owned and operated by the Coccaro family; Lauretta Coccaro the chef & owner operates the restaurant with her son Luigi Coccaro. The restaurant's menu changes seasonally using local and/or handmade ingredients wherever possible, and includes rotating classic dishes from the original menu from when La Bussola opened 43 years ago.
