   Great server. Good food. Waited over 30 minutes to be seated after arriving for our reservation on time.

   Great food but reservations are not well managed. Did not get sat until 25 minutes past our scheduled reservation. Didn’t know it was a “suggested time”.

   We’ve been going to S3 since it opened, around 15 years ago. The food has always been consistently stellar. Tonight was one of the best meals we’ve had there. Top notch service and great ambiance. I would go as far as to say that the branzino was one of my top 3 fish dishes I’ve ever eaten. I’ve never heard of dry aging fish, but this kind of “out of the box” thinking is a reason why The Restaurant People is such a successful hospitality group. Thank you again.

   I haven’t been to S3 for a two years but since my last visit the restaurant has changed. I have given them 4 and 5 stars every time but this visit was very disappointing. The sushi was a step well below what it used to be and some add inedible texture or sauce. The red sauce is terrible. I ordered one with tempura shrimp and I didn’t see it at all, at least in the traditional sense of the shrimp. My wife had fried rice, it was ok. The wine selection was excellent. We paid the check, $211 for a very disappointing meal but went to the fire pit for drinks and that was really nice. There was confusion with the wait staff and the check but it was excellent experience. I used to love this place to the point that we landed at 1:30 and drove straight there before going to the hotel for check in. We had a reservations for 3pm. I was excited but disappointed. I will say, our server was excellent. He did a nice job and talked up the menu and sushi. He did discuss how much the menu has changed from my last times, I came several times a month when I was here. He did a good job, but at the end of the day, the food has dropped in standard and appeal but the restaurant still offers some things that make it wonderful. I must admit, I was disappointed.

    Great experience. Fantastic waiter who paid close attention to our food allergies and the manager actually came out to double check. Great drinks, great food. Amazing desserts.
