    We were so looking forward to catching up with good friends and celebrating the holiday season together! Our reservation was for 5 people (two couples and a widow)—there was an extra chair at our table set up for 6! Our server was awesome, the steaks, etc. were perfection. However, there was a pianist in the large dining room, and the music was SO incredibly loud, we couldn’t hear anything—even from our peeps sitting next to us! We felt like we were reading lips most of the evening until the pianist was FINALLY done at 8:30 pm! We’d love to return next Christmas—the holiday decor is amazing—but we’ll definitely request a table far, far away from that grand piano.

    Entrees include the house salad and a baked potato. Both were excellent. My prime rib was delicious. Service was attentive without being annoying.

    Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Four of us had a delicious meal. One of the best steaks I have had in St. Louis.

    The food and service were outstanding. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays and made my mom’s birthday dinner a little extra special.

    Our server was very patient and understanding that we wanted to visit with our great nieces and linger. The girls loved coming to Sam's. Their first time there We told them the history of our experiences there in our lifetimes and my experiences meeting Denny Long there while arranging a shower party in the basement. I told them what a charming Irish guy he was and I I was so enamored with him So sorry he left us. So glad I met him.

    We dined here on Christmas Eve. The decorations were beautiful. The food was very good. Bar staff and service were great. We originally had a 5:30 reservation but received a call a few days prior asking us to move it to 6:30, which we agreed to. We weren’t seated until after 7:30. We didn’t leave until 9:30. It took a long time to get our food and it was clear staff was overwhelmed. The bussers did a great job of keeping our waters full.

    My husband I had planned to dine at Sam’s Steak House for the past few months. It was his first visit. He was not disappointed by my hype leading up to the visit. We live in Georgia, but plan to come back again . The service and meal were excellent!
