Outdoor dining and take-out available everyday.
Scratch features today's American cookery in an elegant setting. The cuisine is based on the premise of simple food done well and draws from American classics reflecting today's influences and bounty of ingredients. Choose from a tender moist braised short rib, fried chicken, or perhaps a selection from our fresh seafood and oyster bar.

For beverages Scratch has researched some of the finest vineyards and distilleries in the United States. We have a wide variety of wines and spirits to choose from in all price ranges. Some of our wine and spirits are highly allocated and will not always be available.

Scratch also offers a vegetarian menu and a gluten free menu.
Join us for happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm in the bar and on the patio.

What I liked: - The vegetables (cauliflower starter, brussels sprouts starter, broccolini that came with my filet, green beans and carrots side dish - No loud music, no Christmas music - The bread, especially the one with raisins in it What I did not like: - The filet, which I ordered medium rare and which came out rare at best - The service, which was generally courteous but also generally incompetent: misinformation several times about which fish was wild caught, great difficulty asking simply which fish the chef recommended (not how he recommended it be cooked), we had to ask for various pieces of silverware multiple times (and one time when we asked for a knife for the butter we got a spoon), and the fellow who swept crumbs from the table also swept off the two wine corks we were saving and needed (we got them back, but who would do that?), we had to ask for water refills, and timing was generally irregular

Everything was very nice; we were there for an early dinner - so,, no crowd yet. They put us in a nice booth and actually turned the MUSIC - DOWN at our rquest. THAT we especially appreciated! SO - we had a very nice time.

Great food, wonderful service and a very nice atmosphere. We ate very early do to our plans for the evening so not sure how it is during the dinner hour rush but we will return.

I understand it’s the holidays, and I feel empathy for your staff, but maybe you should have sat half the tables considering your staff’s capacity. Dinner took over an hour and a half in total. It took 15 mins after we sat for a server to come by, and then an hour to get our main course. I saw food kept getting delivered to the wrong tables, and when my main arrived, I had to ask about the wine pairing I ordered. By the time it arrived, I had already finished half of it (purposely eating slow so I wouldn’t finish it before my wine arrived). The thing is, I don’t blame the staff. It felt like management trying to squeeze in as many tables as possible for Thanksgiving, regardless of whether you had the staff to support it.
