Please notice that all reservations are for indoor dining. Outdoor dining works on a first come first serve policy. This location is not handicap accessible and is located on the second and third floor of a bi- level building. Reservations above 8 people must be booked with a prifix menu.

Our original Serafina restaurant offers a cozy dining room and a family-friendly indoor terrace. Located in the heart of Manhattan’s art and museum district, we are across the street from Central Park and just 2 blocks from the MET! Enjoy our authentic Italian menu, prepared with the highest quality ingredients. Featuring homemade pastas, over 20 varieties of pizza from our cherry-wood burning oven and grilled meats, fish and vegetables.

Always a solid and dependable Italian restaurant with numerous well located outlets throughout Manhattan, the Upper East Side (original?) spot offers a modest, pleasant menu, excellent pizza and attentive service. Beware, however, if you find yourself trekking two stories up the stairs to the second level. While the main room presents itself with handsome white tablecloths, those banished to the upper levels will find themselves eating off rough wood tables reminiscent of a dive bar, a distinctly different ambiance. I failed to note any price reductions for those in the nosebleed section. That said, you can always get a decent meal at a fair price at Serafina .

We were able to get a last minute reservation and were beyond pleasantly surprised at the food quality and service. We also found the prices to be fairly reasonable. The space is cozy and they maximize the space by having tables close to one another, which can increase the noise level. I would highly recommend this place and definitely plan on returning.
