Please notice that all reservations are for indoor dining. Outdoor dining works on a first come first serve policy. This location is not handicap accessible and is located on the second and third floor of a bi- level building. Reservations above 8 people must be booked with a prifix menu.

Our original Serafina restaurant offers a cozy dining room and a family-friendly indoor terrace. Located in the heart of Manhattan’s art and museum district, we are across the street from Central Park and just 2 blocks from the MET! Enjoy our authentic Italian menu, prepared with the highest quality ingredients. Featuring homemade pastas, over 20 varieties of pizza from our cherry-wood burning oven and grilled meats, fish and vegetables.

I’ve been eating at Serafina for many years and have always been happy. The meals are made with care, presented nicely and the produce is always fresh and delicious. They are also willing to make alterations for folks with dietary restrictions, like myself.

The ambiance at Serafina was just as great as the food! We make sure to always visit a Serafina restaurant on our trips to NYC and we haven’t been disappointed yet. The drinks, appetizers, and entrees were delicious. The staff was very friendly.

What a wonderful experience! We loved the third floor dining room and the glorious food! Everything was delicious. Perfectly seasoned and with a perfect bite. Salad, pasta and pizza were beyond expectations as was the service - conscientious, joyful and wonderful. We’ll be back.

We’ve been coming to this place for years. The food is always fantastic, and service is usually excellent. They’re tagliolini with the black truffles is a great dish. Believe it or not, parking is not too bad at street level around this place, especially a little bit later in the early evening.

Very disappointed. We ordered the "classic Cesar salad" nothing classic about this it tasted like like lettuce with mayo. Then we ordered the vodka pizza and it was edible, but that's it because it lacked flavor. Tiramisu was okay and we ordered Prosecco which was actually really nice. Service was ok. Good ambiance, lighting and music but with so maybe options in NYC we will not return.

I’ve been going to various branches of Serafina for decades. I remember fondly the old one on 61st. But what is frustrating is never seem to get a good table. Certainly not at the 79th street location. In the latest case, my son and I were sat at a 2-top when my wife called to see if she could join us. I asked our waitress if we could take the 3-top at the back. “No,” we were told. “We’re going to turn it into a 5-top.” Sure enough, by the time we were finished with our meal, sat at are rather awkward but 4-top, the 3-top hadn’t been used. Not cool.

I’ve always loved Serafina on Madison Avenue and have consistently had great experiences. However, last night was disappointing. Our server, an older gentleman, seemed unfriendly and was absent for much of our meal. This impacted the overall experience. I hope you can ensure that all staff members are welcoming and attentive to maintain the high standard I’ve come to expect from Serafina.
