A group of friends celebrated New Year's Eve at Sette Osteria on 14th, and it turned out to be a great way to usher in 2025. The restaurant prepared a lavish menu for the night, in addition to the regular fare, and they provided hats for those looking to accessorize. The place was packed and the staff was ready to serve. Our regular waiter, Atambaev, provided the same attentive service we've enjoyed on quieter evenings and the food came out like clockwork and perfectly prepared. The food was great, as always. The grilled calamari was delicate and flavorful and the salmon tartar a table favorite. The beet salad was bright and tasty, while the braised pear salad, a NYE special, was sublime. I had the fish special, grilled halibut on a bed of braised tomatoes, beets, and asparagus, which was a fresh and inventive combination, adding flavor, texture, and color to the nicely prepared fish. With such a large crowd, the restaurant was especially noisy -- quite a change from a regular evening. But for ringing in the new year, the energy was just right.

it seems that they were planning to close, but we’re still taking reservations. The food felt like a carryout pasta and was horrible. A terrible waste of money.

Good experience! Eggplant parmigiana excellent. Very spicy vodka pasta but delicious. Fair wine selection. Fair prices. Totally recommended!

The home made pasta was absolutely wonderful. I ordered the Gnocchi and my daughter had the pesto pasta dish. Both were delish! But the service was non-existent. Had to track down the server by asking another server to find her… instead of just asking me what I needed. And this happened a couple of times. And be careful bcuz there’s 2 diff locations within minutes of each other!😌

Fun ambiance but service was inconsistent - we had three different servers and at different points were rushed to order then waiting for extensive periods of time. They forgot one of our dessert orders but no one came back to check on us so we gave up. Helpfully, they did comp the desserts when they finally came with the check and we explained the issue. Would return again to sit at the bar for a casual bite but wouldn’t return for a family dinner or special occasion.

We had dinner this evening before a theatre event and everything about our experience was terrific. Our waiter was attentive throughout our meal and the food was delicious. One of our party used to live in Italy and he commented that the food was as good as in the native country. i highly recommend this restaurant to others and we will definitely visit again.
