Mouthwatering dishes leap off the menu at Seventeen. Open during the warmer months, this Bay Harbor waterfront restaurant serves classic American cuisine with elegant flair in casual digs that include a lounge, outdoor bar and patio. Chef Jarod Kirby supervises a menu that features burgers, sandwiches, salads, soup and a nice selection of entrees. It also boasts a tidy list of boutique wines, craft cocktails and beer. Seventeen is a nice pick for a quiet lunch or a fun dining experience with friends. You can enjoy your meal indoors or opt for a scenic al fresco dining experience on the patio. The restaurant also boasts a full-service bar where guests can relax. Seventeen's facilities include several private dining rooms and a spacious loft that can be reserved for birthdays, parties and other private events.

                                        Not very many people there mid-week, off-season when we went, but still had very good quality food, service. Filet was done just right. very good lemon cake for dessert. This place is probably really hoppin' in season/weekends. Good food, drinks, wine list. Recommend highly! Will be back!

                                        In the past we have dined at 17 several times and enjoyed it..Our last experience was OK for ambiance and wait staff...My entree "Surf & Turf" was not even a small plate, but a minuscule appetizer with 2 small scallops and a 1" piece of pork belly.. No garnish, no vegetables...Yes it was tasty, but not at all what I expected from past experiences...

                                        It was very frustrating to be waiting in the restaurant and my dinner guests were waiting in the lounge and to never be connected. When I checked in the reservation was removed. When my guests arrived, they were told there were no reservations and waited for me in the bar. I waited in the restaurant. There were a total of 10 people in the restaurant while I sat there for nearly two hours. My guests were fearful that something had happened to me and actually called the hospital and 9-1-1 as they knew I would not stand them up. They had been assured that there were no reservations and the bartender never checked in with the servers to see if someone was waiting.

                                        We decided to try Seventeen based on my sister's recommendation. We were celebrating an anniversary. We arrived to a friendly hostess and door person. Our waitstaff was terrific and very friendly. She made great recommendations from the menu which was helpful. The food was very tasty although a little pricey. The atmosphere was a little loud and made it difficult to hear each other. There was a table with 10 people right next to us who might have had a little too much to drink and were overtly loud. Once they left, the dining room was quiet and enjoyable.
